Why You So Obsessed With Us, Karen?!

Updated: Dec 30, 2025

Why White Folks Stay Pressed About Black People Who Ain’t Even Thinkin’ ‘Bout Them Half the Time?

Okay, okay, okay... Now I been tryin’ to keep my cool. I really have. But I’m tellin’ you, this one right here been sittin’ on my spirit like a stubborn stain that won’t wash out.

Man, why in the actual heck do these folks spend so much time thinkin’ about us?? Like, for real — we out here mindin’ our business, payin’ bills, makin’ moves, raisin’ kids, grillin’ ribs, tryin’ to live life — and somehow, that’s still a threat.

Why do y’all even care so much?

Why you losin’ sleep, spendin’ energy, and stretchin’ your nerves over a whole race of people who ain’t even thinkin’ about you more than half the time??

We ain’t sittin’ around like, “Hmm, how can we ruin white folks’ day today?” Bruh, we got better things to do — like tryna stay alive in traffic stops, keep our jobs despite your microaggressions, and keep y’all from touchin’ our hair.

But nah, every time you turn around, here they come again — another Karen with a camera, another Tucker Carlson clone on TV talkin’ ‘bout “the dangers of diversity,” another bigot in Congress talkin’ like equality is a threat to civilization.

Y’all must be bored out your holy-white minds.

The Global Hobby of Hatin’ on Black People

Let’s keep it a buck, bruh — it’s like bein’ anti-Black is the world’s most popular extracurricular activity.

Ain’t no other group on this planet got a whole global fan club of haters dedicated to watchin’ their every move.

You could drop a Black man in the middle of Iceland, and by sundown some random fool gon’ find a reason to call the cops. You could show a picture of a Black woman gettin’ her PhD, and some dude online gon’ type, “Affirmative action.” We can’t even breathe without y’all makin’ it a scandal.

And don’t hit me with the “not all white people” speech. We know that. But bruh, if the shoe keep fittin’ like Cinderella, somebody wearin’ it way too comfortably.

Y’all Mad ‘Cause You Can’t Stop Watchin’ What You Envy

You ever notice how the same folks who swear they hate us can’t stop imitatin’ us?

  • They say they don’t like our slang — then start sayin’ “lit” and “periodt.”

  • They say they don’t like our music — but they still bumpin’ Drake, Beyoncé, and Kendrick in secret.

  • They say our lips too big, our skin too dark, our curves too much — but then they payin’ surgeons thousands to get what they swear they don’t like.

That’s the thing about obsession — it always starts as hate but ends in imitation.

They mad ‘cause we keep shinin’ no matter how much shade they throw.

Black folks been trendsetters since the dawn of time, and it’s drivin’ ‘em crazy that the very people they demonize keep leadin’ the culture.

They try to erase us from history, but somehow we are history — and the future.

The Delusion of Victimhood: Projection 101

What blows my mind is the gaslightin’, bruh. They attack, oppress, colonize, exploit, and destroy — and then turn around talkin’ ‘bout we the problem.

Whole centuries of oppression, but they swear they the victims. They burn down our communities, sabotage our schools, rob our ancestors of land and labor, and then say, “You people just don’t work hard enough.”

Excuse me? You mean the same people who built your entire economy for free?

The same people who invented half the things you use daily while you was still tryin’ to figure out seasoning?

And they got the nerve to call us lazy, dangerous, or “ungrateful.” Nah, bruh, that’s projection with a capital “P.” They hate the mirror ‘cause it keep showin’ the truth.

White Supremacy Is the World’s Longest Running Reality Show

Bruh, white supremacy got more seasons than The Simpsons. It’s been on air for 500 years, and the plot don’t never change. Every episode the same: they cause chaos, play the victim, and then gaslight the audience.

You got colonizers actin’ like they discovered places that already had people in ‘em.

You got slave owners callin’ themselves “Christians” while whippin’ folks half to death.

You got modern-day Karens weaponizin’ tears like it’s a self-defense system.

And now you got politicians in 2025 still sayin’ dumb stuff like “We need to protect our culture” — bruh, protect it from what? Reality??

White supremacy the only scam in history where the thief cries victim when the stolen goods start talkin’.

We Don’t Wake Up Thinkin’ About You — We Tryna Survive You

That’s the part they’ll never understand. We not obsessed with them. We aware of them. There’s a difference. We don’t wake up thinkin’, “How can we make white people miserable today?” We wake up prayin’, “Lord, please don’t let some racist ruin my peace today.”

We not lookin’ to make nobody stumble — we just tryna stay standin’ on two feet in a system that keep movin’ the ground.

It’s projection, bruh. They can’t imagine a world where somebody ain’t tryin’ to dominate somebody else. So when they see us movin’ free, they panic. When they see us laughin’ loud, livin’ bold, lovin’ ourselves, it triggers ‘em — ‘cause they whole identity built on superiority.

They can’t function unless they feel above somebody. So when we remind ‘em that we equal, it wreck they whole sense of self.

The Hypocrisy Olympics Stay in Full Swing

Bruh, let’s talk about hypocrisy for a minute.

How you gon’ call us violent while you the ones started the past 50 wars, droppin’ bombs, colonizin’ continents, and shootin’ up schools?

How you gon’ call us criminals when white men account for the vast majority of all violent crimes in the US?

How you gon’ call us loud when every time we protest injustice, your whole country lose its mind over a kneel or a march?

They hate the reflection, bruh.

They built a whole system where they can sin in peace but punish us for existing. They the only folks who can commit mass crimes and still get documentaries instead of jail sentences.

But let a Black man sell loose cigarettes or miss a turn signal — now suddenly he “posed a threat.”

Make that mess make sense, yo.

It Ain’t About Hate. It’s About Power

See, deep down it ain’t just about hate. It’s about control. Hate is the costume, but fear is the engine. They fear what they can’t dominate.

They know that once the world stop believing their lies, the whole structure of white supremacy gon’ crumble. And what’s left? Accountability.

They can’t handle that, bruh. ‘Cause accountability mean repentance. It mean restitution. It mean admitting that everything they built — from stolen land to stolen credit — came from oppression.

So instead of doin’ the work, they just keep stirrin’ up chaos. They keep playin’ victim and villain at the same time. And every generation, they pass that sickness down like a family heirloom.

The Rest of Us Just Tryna Live

Meanwhile, the rest of us? We just out here tryna make it. Tryna raise our kids without fear. Tryna pay these ridiculous bills. Tryna love ourselves in a world that profits off hatin’ us.

We not in nobody’s war. We not schemin’ behind closed doors. We not holdin’ meetings to figure out how to make you stumble.

Matter fact, half of us too tired from work to even think about you. So why y’all keep thinkin’ about us like we your full-time job? We live rent-free in y’all’s heads — and I promise you, we ain’t even tryin’.

Bruh, Maybe the Real Problem Is Jealousy

Let’s call a spade a spade: a lot of this hate is just jealousy in church clothes. They jealous of our rhythm, our resilience, our skin, our soul, our style, our swagger, our survival. They jealous that we been through hell and still find joy. They jealous that every time they bury us, we sprout wings.

They hate what they can’t destroy. And what they can’t destroy, they try to imitate.

That’s why they copy the sound, the slang, the style, but never the struggle.

You can steal the rhythm, baby, but you can’t steal the soul.

Let’s Be Honest: It’s Exhausting Watchin’ Grown Folks Act This Insecure

It’s 2025, and grown adults still mad ‘cause a Black man existin’ in peace make ‘em uncomfortable. Still mad ‘cause a Black woman got confidence they can’t shake. Still mad ‘cause immigrants work harder in one week than they do all year.

Like, bruh… seek therapy. For real. ‘Cause this constant obsession, this endless need to control, this paranoia — it’s not power, it’s pathology. Ain’t no “greatness” in insecurity that deep.

We not your competition, homie. We your mirror — and that’s what’s killin’ you.

The Real Question

So lemme ask the million-dollar question, slow and clear for the folks in the back:

If Black folks and immigrants ain’t thinkin’ about y’all like that…

If we not schemin’, not plottin’, not sittin’ around tryin’ to ruin your lives… Then why you so obsessed with us?

Why you so invested in makin’ life harder for people who just tryin’ to live?

Why you need to see us stumble to feel like you stand tall?

Maybe the real problem ain’t us, bruh. Maybe the real problem is that you can’t stop watchin’ people who don’t need you to matter.
