Exposing America’s Wild Double Standard on Who Parents Fear and Who They Should REALLY Be Worried About

Aight America… Bring Ya Nerves to the Altar, Cuz We ’Bout to Talk About This Foolishness
Bruh… I swear fo’ God and two biscuits, some of y’all out here runnin’ on fear settings so messed up that even Jesus Himself would look at this nation and say, “Now see… that right there ain’t got nothin’ to do with Me.”
Because apparently, in 2025, non-Black American parents can do calculus, file taxes, memorize 27 Starbucks drinks, quote every line from Frozen, and run a PTA like a military coup —but cannot process basic violent crime statistics that been sittin’ in plain sight for DECADES.
No, instead they out here acting like every Black boy who owns a hoodie is a public safety emergency.
But lemme go on and holla at y'all for a minute, because this NEEDS to be read, reread, printed out, posted, highlighted, tattooed, cross-stitched, and hung on somebody’s living room wall:
The Truth Y’all Been Duckin’
Why do you feel more comfortable and why do you feel safer by knowingly puttin' your children on a school bus with Kyle the pedophile who's been molestin' kids for 20 years or sending your daughter to sit in the Sunday school class with pastor Dan who been secretly raping women right there in your congregation as a pastime hobby!

And the only reason you don't know about him is because the judge gave him a slap on the wrist, told him to stay out of trouble, and let him go home!
But after readin' and knowin' what the crime stats are in this country and have been for many many years, I'm still tryin' to truly understand why it is that you automatically so terrified of Tyrone, DeSean, Jamal, and Malik just on seeing one of them walkin' home from school or throwin' a ball with his dog at the park, or jogging down the street in his own neighborhood, or buying skittles wearing a hoodie!
You don't ever give an inkling of thought about any of the rapists, pedophiles, serial killers, and other crazies living right next door to you in your gated community because they look like you or because they not African American. But you up there clutchin your purse and lockin your car door at the stoplight 'cause you saw a Black man standin' at the bus stop, or you finna call an emergency HOA meeting 'cause you saw a new Black family moving in 3 houses down!
MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!!!
Baby…I ain’t even gotta warm up.
Let’s GO.
The Fear Ain’t Rooted in Logic... It’s Rooted in Programming
See, America didn’t “wake up scared of Black men.”
Nah, that fear was installed like a virus, preloaded like spyware on a Walmart laptop.
The media been running the same script since before color TV:
Show the Black mugshot
Whisper the white mugshot
“Troubled teen” for him
“Thug” for us
“Quiet neighbor” for him
“Menace to society” for us
“Suspect suffers from mental illness” for him
“Armed and dangerous” for us
And y’all soaked it up like dishwater in a cheap sponge.
So instead of checking the actual FBI and USDOJ numbers — numbers that been screaming the truth like a Black mama outside a grocery store — you over here believing the Channel 7 Fear Forecast like it’s the Book of Psalms.
Let’s Talk About Who REALLY Committing the Crimes
Because now I’m ’bout to say this the way God intended — LOUD and ANNOYING so it can penetrate all the foolishness:
White men — not Black men, not Latinos, not immigrants, not “urban youths,” not anybody else — have been committing MOST of the violent crime in the United States for DECADES.
Not “some.”
Not “a lil bit.”
Not “barely above average.”
MOST. BY. FAR.
And across ALL categories.
And the numbers BEEN public, BEEN available, BEEN consistent, BEEN stubborn like a bad stain.
But instead of facing that truth, this nation stay obsessed with:
Jamal walking his dog
Malik jogging
Tyrone buying Skittles
DeSean sitting in the breakroom
Or a Black dad holding his baby at the park
Whole time…
Kyle over there grooming kids.
Pastor Dan getting “anointed” in the wrong ways.
Uncle Rick got 12 open cases that “never made the news.”
And Mr. Taylor mowing the lawn with 3 restraining orders.
But who the HOA worried about?
“The new Black family on Mulberry Lane…”
Child…
Let’s Roast the Insanity with the Full Power of the Holy Ghost
If you clutch your purse harder around Deonte — the calculus tutor from down the street —but you let your kids spend the night at Brad’s house like he ain’t got three DUIs and a domestic charge…
I promise you…
SOMETHIN’ WRONG WITH YOU.
If you terrified of Jamal on the elevator —Mr. Karim who got a master’s degree, a clean driving record, and a Costco membership —but you got NO FEAR of attending a church run by a man whose charges mysteriously disappeared…
BABY, THE PROBLEM ISN’T US. THE PROBLEM IS YOU.
If you would call the police on a Black teenager holding a bag of Skittles —but you’d leave your toddlers alone with “friendly Mr. Beckett next door” who gives off every serial-killer documentary vibe known to Netflix…
You ain’t scared.
You programmed.
America Trusts Whiteness — Not Safety
This country don’t fear danger.
It fears Blackness.
This country don’t trust safety.
It trusts whiteness.
That’s why a man with a clean record still gets followed around Target
…but a man with sealed charges gets a promotion.
That’s why a Black teen checking the mailbox is suspicious
…but a white man walking down the street with an AR-15 is “exercising his rights.”
That’s why an unarmed Black jogger is “threatening”
…but a white serial killer gets described as “quiet,” “a loner,” or “misunderstood.”
See the pattern?
Of course you do.
The Truth Goes Even Deeper Than Y’all Think
Remember the part about the truth y'all been duckin'?
The part about how parents will knowingly put their children:
On a bus with Kyle the pedophile
In Sunday School with Pastor Dan the predator
In neighborhoods with folks who could fill three seasons of Dateline
…but lose their entire minds when Malik moves into a cul-de-sac?
Baby, that ain’t just hypocrisy.
That’s generational brain rot.
That’s centuries of psychological conditioning served on a platter with ranch dressing.
That’s racism dressed up like “concern,” “intuition,” “just being careful,” and “good parenting.”
Except it ain’t good parenting.
It’s irresponsible, misinformed, ignorant fear — fear that actually puts your kids at MORE risk, not less.
Because you ain’t watching the people statistically most likely to harm them.
You busy watching the Black kid who ain’t never harmed anybody.
Meanwhile Black Men Out Here Performing Like Broadway Actors Just to Survive
Black men gotta do:
The “non-threatening smile”
The “soft voice tone”
The “Good morning ma’am”
The “let me stand farther away so I don’t scare you”
The “hands visible at all times”
The “hyper-polite professional cadence”
The “extra friendliness even when exhausted”
ALL BECAUSE YOU’RE AFRAID OF A STATISTIC THAT AIN’T EVEN TRUE.
Meanwhile white men walk around:
Loud
Entitled
Aggressive
Drunk
Armed
And still treated like “safe,” “normal,” “community pillars,” and “role models.”
See, y'all don't want Black men to perform Blackness to make YOU feel safe.
Y’all expect us to perform it so YOU feel superior.
Before You Get Mad… Answer This One Question
Why is your fear so selective?
Why is your concern so racially curated?
Why is your “protective instinct” so color-coded?
Why you terrified of Malik walking his dog…
…but comfortable with Kyle driving your kid’s bus?
Why Jamal jogging makes you lock your doors…
…but Pastor Dan’s history don’t concern you?
Why is your “danger radar” blind to the folks who statistically commit the overwhelming majority of violent crimes…
…but crystal clear when a Black man is simply present?
The Real Question Ain’t About Us — It’s About YOU
At this point, America gotta ask itself one thing:
Do you want safety — or do you want supremacy?
Because supremacy FEELS like safety:
It lets you target who you already hate.
It lets you excuse who you already trust.
It lets you rearrange reality to match your biases.
It lets you pretend your neighborhood is safe because your neighbors look like you.
It lets you ignore the truth and cling to the lie.
But the truth?
The truth don’t care about your feelings.
The truth don’t care about your fear.
The truth don’t care about your neighborhood’s HOA emails.
The truth been sitting right there in the open for decades.
You just didn’t want to read it.
And here's where it gets really real.... Y'all up here actin' like you havin' a crisis 'cause they said the violent crime rates increasin'.
Well no freakin' duh....
If the real violent criminals keep gettin' slaps on the wrists and sent back into society over and over again, then it won't be long before you got a nation full of multigenerational crazy folks kickin' it in suburbia rapin' women, molestin' kids, and plannin' the next mass shooting.
Look y'all.... This ain't deep stuff.
It's just truth that most Americans don't wanna think about.
'Cause it's easier to just blame it on Black men, since that's the familiar image y'all keep seein' on Fox News.
So Let’s End This with the Clapback You Asked For
If you can look at decades of crime data…
If you can see the breakdowns by race, by gender, by category, by state, by year…
If you can see the open cases, the sealed cases, the documentaries, the trial transcripts, the sentencing disparities…
If you can see ALL THAT…
…and STILL walk around thinking Malik is scarier than Mr. Henderson with that “mysterious shed” behind his garage…
then baby, the danger ain’t Black men.
The danger is your bias.
Your fear.
Your conditioning.
Your refusal to hear truth.
Your selective outrage.
Your selective awareness.
Your selective ‘safety.’
And that ain’t a Black problem.
That’s a YOU problem.
SO… Before You Get Defensive… Ask Yourself This:
Why do you fear us more than you fear the people statistically most likely to harm you?
Why do you trust media myths more than federal data?
Why do you label Black boys as threats and white predators as “isolated incidents”?
And most importantly…
Why do you feel safer around the demographic committing most of the crimes… and threatened by the demographic committing the least?
Let THAT sit on your spirit for a minute.
